Height data for pH from GI Apex Surface Mooring

Hi,
I’ve recently downloaded some pH data from the GI apex surface mooring
riser (20-200m) using the OOI data explorer. The netcdf file lists height
as a variable (‘z’), however the entire column is 0s. The same is true for
pH data from the flanking moorings and the apex surface mooring riser
(100m). If this data is available, I would appreciate it if you could point
me in the right direction.

Thanks for your help,

Meg,

Thanks for your question. There are 2 PHSEN instruments attached to the mooring riser of the Irminger Apex Surface Mooring. One is mounted at 20 m (presumably the one marked 20-200m), and the other is mounted at 100 m. We’ll fix the labels in Data Explorer accordingly.

I will look into why the z parameter is all zeros for this data set. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Thanks,
Sheri

Meg,

The issue with the 20 m PHSEN being listed at 20-200 m has been fixed. We are still working on the issue of the z variable being all zeros.

Thanks,
Sheri
