Washington Profiler surface buoy struck by ship and was recovered/Real-time data transmission will be restored in the fall

The Washington Profiler Mooring surface buoy was struck by a ship on 2024-04-19. The buoy went ashore at Warrenton, Oregon on 2024-04-27 and was recovered. The subsurface profiler is no longer reporting data in real-time, but may still be operating. We will recover the profiler and restore real-time data transmission on the fall 2024 mooring cruise (2024-10-05 – 2024-10-20).
